Abstract A 13-year-old boy was seen in the urology clinic for hypopigmented patches on glans penis. He underwent circumcision presumed balanitis xerotica obliterans, but histological examination of skin showed lichen planus (LP). A Rare Colocalization of Lichen Planus and Vitiligo.
We report an unusual manifestation of vitiligo colocalizing with lichen planus (LP). A 76-year-old Greek male presented with a history of a red, scaly, itchy, asymmetrical patch located at the umbilicus within a well-demarcated depigmented macule of vitiligo. Histology showed features of a lichenoid interface dermatitis, favouring a diagnosis of LP. Colocalization of LP and vitiligo has rarely ...

Although lichen planus and vitiligo are common skin disorders, their association with two other uncommon diseases, i.e. lichen sclerosus et atrophicus and disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis, seems to be a very rare occurrence. We report herein a 70-year-old man who developed all of these four skin disorders simultaneously.
متن کاملZosteriform Lichen Planus: Case Report of a Rare Variant of Lichen Planus
Since its original description by Devergie in 1854, several cases of linear lichen planus have been described in the literature, but there have been notably few cases of the more rare zosteriform lichen planus. Zosteriform lichen planus needs to be differentiated from linear lichen planus and other linear dermatoses. We present a case of Zosteriform Lichen planus for its rarity and briefly revi...

Lichen planus (LP) is a chronic autoimmune mucocutaneous disease that predominantly affects adults and occurs less frequently in the pediatric patients. Oral LP in childhood is a rare entity with very few cases cited in the literature. The objective of this paper is to contribute a clinically and histologically documented case of juvenile oral LP to the literature. Despite the fact of rare occu...
